B.Sc. Nursing programme aims at preparing the nursing professionals to impart knowledge and skills and take up the responsibility as a member in the health care delivery system. It prepares students to be competent professional nurses with scientific innovative ideas in solving health problem and in delivering quality health care.
Since, Nursing is an important profession related to the field of medicine, students are given exposure to the theoretical and practical aspects of behavioral science, physical, biological, social and psychological management of patients. In medical profession the nurse works as a team with other professionals like the physician, medical service and pharmacists in patient health care system.
